Wotakoi is a lovely anime. Before I saw it, I thought there was that usual dose of romance and boyfriend stuff but here there must have been some hugs and some kisses, nothing more. I understand that the story was about how they were childhood friends and they were slowly falling in love with each other, but sometimes you forgot it was a romantic anime. I would have preferred some more nice scenes (there would have been only one or two in all the anime). But overall it is cute. It’s not one of those anime where they kiss in every episode and where there’s all that drama.

Kamisama Kiss is the classic romantic anime or shojo that a person should definitely see. Not only for the exciting story full of hilarious parts and with characters rich in personality, but especially for how they connect each other. Who looks at the anime perceives on his own skin how Tomoe really cares about Nanami and how she is slowly falling in love with this mysterious boy (well he has every right! This is the first time I’ve ever seen a movie like this and I’m really amazed at how you can make such an interesting story. It still amazes me how at a certain point even you, as the protagonist, you feel confused and lost, even asking yourself if this part of the film is always part of the story or is a girl’s dream or her thought. The only thing I don’t like is the drawings. Maybe they are made to give more emphasis but some characters are disproportionate and almost scare me (two characters in particular have eyes that reach practically the ears ahah). I start immediately with saying that, personally, I find Haikyuu!!! 2 even more energetic, fun and exciting.
