She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man

Apr 19, 2022

If you read the manga and are expecting the same story in anime form, I wouldn't bother wasting your time watching this. I'm reading and enjoying the manga, I couldn't get past 5 minutes into episode 2. They also somehow managed to stretch into an entire episode what the manga acomplished in literally 4 pages on top of also changed the sequence of events quite a bit.

By the Grace of the Gods

I might be spoiled by the comparatively rich story the manga portrayed, but this really disappoints quite a lot. Whole story arcs have been skipped or just briefly glanced over. Had they taken more of the source material it might've been almost two full seasons to get to the point of the story of what is now episode 8. Had I not known the manga I might've enjoyed it more.

Yuru Yuri San☆Hai!

Compared to the first two seasons (which I've both watched 4 times) this season just feels off and really awkward. I'm not exactly sure how and what, but it doesn't feel like the same light, fluffy theme the first two seasons had. Might be worth watching at least once but definitely not something I would watch a second time. But looking at the average vote at 4.2 apparently everybody loves it.... I'm not really sure how that happened. And aside from all that, I strongly dislike the OP and ED from this season.

Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA

Jan 2, 2016

Reviews I've seen here so far treat it like a second season, a sequel to the first Hidan no Aria. As far as I'm concerned, it is not that at all. It feels more like a side story that shouldn't be confused with the main story revolving around Aria. This anime follows the story of Akari and how she looks up to Aria. Compared to Hidan no Aria I'd say the theme is a bit lighter and easy to watch (except for the last few episodes, which are a bit darker) Overal not that bad an anime, but you should really put aside the story from Hidan no Aria when watching this.

Shomin Sample

Bear in mind that this review has been written after episode 1 and contains a whole bunch of personal world views and opinions. 5 minutes in to the first and only episode I'll probably ever watch and I'm already mad shit pissed off. Personally I can't really handle animes where ignorance is the glorified standard (they make me feel like punching walls and torturing certain characters to near death). Dude is basically abducted to a girls only private school and just accepts it al without much of a fight. Head maid is a bitch and the school is filled with idiots who are so damn... See full review

Ultimate Otaku Teacher

Although the story look very promising and interesting, the execution of it is done rather poorly if you ask me. It all feels a bit forced, especially some of the voices. And most of the main characters seem to lack some depth and backstory and tend to repeat themselves whenever they can (it's starting to annoy the crap out of me).

World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman

Mar 15, 2015

Overall it's fun to watch, decent enough story, no an overkill amount of fanservice, well animated. Biggest downside is that major fights are a bit cliché (every time the fight seems lost he remembers something and says "I remember" and then pulls some overkill stuff out of his hat and ends the fight in less than a minute)

The Qwaser Of Stigmata

Rape fanservice is not fanservice (and this anime contains an awefull lot of that). Don't watch if you can't stomach people being treated like shit all that well, it happens a lot in thisone.
