Garyuu

A pretty good movie I guess. It did not feel like a Tenchi Muyo at all. Tenchi Muyo used to have a lot of humor, and action. It wasn't something to be taken seriously. It was like they wanted to change that in this movie. There was very little humor, and no action. Even the characters felt like they had less energy in them. Of the three movies it somehow had the best story even though it was the basic story throughout all the movies.

One of them is in trouble (usually Tenchi) and it is up to everyone else to save him. They still can't think of a creative way to create the antagonist. In every movie, and even the show, the bad guy is a person from someone's past with a grudge. Still I they did it a little better than the other movies.

 Unimportant but, I thought it was weird that it was called Tenchi Forever. When the title was displayed on the screen it said "Tenchi Muyo! In Love 2" in English.
