I didn't want to be too harsh on this film because my close friends held it dearly, but I'm gonna be honest, this one sucks a lot. The plot itself is interesting and it kept me slightly interested, but other than that there's very little of substance. While there isn't too much that's extraordinary or above average about Aggretsuko's plot, this show certainly makes up for that with its unforgettable and hilarious characters. You may be thinking, "animals with office jobs isn't an interesting concept, and one of them singing death metal is new but what else is there?" if you're thinking that, I advise you to nut up and get some darn creativity. So I am kind of a fan of age-gap ships, but if we're judging by merit alone, Koi wa Ameagari isn't just good to me because of that, and I'll try to explain why. The summary tells you all you need to generally know, but please go into this with an open mind. The story is actually less about a teenager who falls in love with her 40 year old boss and more about two people stuck in their own depression/lack of motivation who help each other climb out of their own problems and learn to live again.
