Triage X

======================

UPDATE: the sound effects must have lost their budget because a woman collapsing on the floor doesn't sound like a wet towle dropped on the floor.

I FINISHED THE SHOW AND THE SHOW FINISHED ME!

THIS IS A HORRIBLE AFFRONT TO ALL STORYTELLERS EVERYWHERE! NOTHING COMPARES! NOTHING!

======================

MY friend got into "anime roulette" on the forums and got this anime.
He's a pretty good friend, so I promissed I'd help him get through it.

He already owed me a lot for the fact that I was doing this, after watching only three episodes he owes me a whole lot more.

I don't understand guys who watch this stuff for entertainment, it's not even funny in an ironic sense anymore.

Help me, please, someone, help me.

1/10 story
5/10 animation
1/10 sound
1/10 characters
1/10 overall

What part of this was a "review". Please keep it relevant. I was looking to try the show out since i ran out of anime to watch and saw this but you got your point across at least. I'll skip out on this one but for future reference write an "actual" review. However you interpret "actual" is up to you.

I have to agree with that. I have read 4 volumes or more of Triage X and when the anime adaption was being made I got excited. However that changed After watching the 1st episode. They comepletely ruined it with the animation (40%), adding random side characters (20%) and not following the story accurately (40%). I don't know if I want to want the next episode. Very disappointed indeed.

Pretty terrible anime that feels like a washed down version of H.O.T.D. Where the zombie survival series at least had a superb animation studion behind it (Madhouse) that respected the source's style, this one has all sorts of inconsistencies in every scene. Studio Xebec is only good for animating two things and that is jiggly parts and anything below a female's waste. The original manga at least had some very good artwork to look at, the adaptation doesn't even have that.

The very basic story is juvenile and serves as a means to feed you fan service and action setpieces. The characters are also just stereotypes cobbled together and and serve only to put a name on a sack of meat. Any tension you get in the episode fails completely too because everyone is an overpowered Deus Ex Machina. Can you expect anything else when the original writer mostly does adult work for a living?

Overall a weak show in both narrative and presentation, luckily it only airs once a week.
