You can tell the difference how men are written when its by a male creator or by a female creator- Tanjiro was written from the female gaze and its honestly a great thing. He is the ideal guy, whether the relationship he has is platonic or romantic- he's just really great. I hope all people see him as a role model. But I feel like the creator made his "only" con that uh.. she killed off his family. That is something that keeps him away from the "perfect" life because his family, aside from Nezuko, was literally wiped out. He's also too considerate and kind for his own good that it gets him into confrontations that can be threatening. Though it also shows how true he stays to his morals and his compassion to see other's hearts. Again though, wanting to save everyone is not full proof and throws him close to the self-sacrificial hero which couldve been true if Nezuko were not there.
