We, Without Wings - Under the Innocent Sky dosen't make good first impressions. From episode 1, this anime made no sense. It switched between 3 main characters in the first episode which have completely different settings. This made me drop this anime at episode 3 since I didn't understand it at all. However, after much reluctance, and since I had nothing to watch, I continued watching the series and it slowly started to make some sense.

The animation of the We, Without Wings - Under the Innocent Sky, is pretty much what you would expect from any modern anime, there's nothing special about it.

We, Without Wings - Under the Innocent Sky has too many characters, I couldn't really make up who was who, I had to watch till episode 7 to recognise almost everyone. The main protagonist, Takashi, is just a wimpy kid who is really useless, making him really hard to sympathise with. His character really makes me hate him even though I'm trying really hard not to. His girlfriend, Asuka, who only stands out because she is prettier than everyone else, has no other distinguishable traits. These two main characters are both really weak, which is one of the reasons I dislike this anime.

Overall, this is a very poorly made anime, it's story is messed up, making it hard to comprehend the story. This anime had the potential to be something great, it's concept is interesting, however the story was just terrible. I had to watch the ending two times to get it.
