Also I could never truly get into Naruto, I can't stand the main three, especially Sausage Uchiha. The dude is so bipolar when it comes to who he wants to get revenge one.
Zegapain: It's like the matrix, but with mecha. Beginning's Generic and Production Values are average (Sunrise blew all their money on Code Geass). But it has a pretty neat story kept simple to follow, and some nice character development for its main characters. A movie for it is coming later this year to celebrate it's 10th anniversary.

Brigadoon: It's a mix of genres blended surprisingly well: Sci-Fi, Romance, Bizarre Comedy, and Action. Music's great too. Does suffer a bit from Mood Whiplash and the main girl, while likeable and pretty well characterized throughtout the show, has some grating nails on chockboard screams in the japanese dub, so be prepare to mute when she screams for dear life
Yep, Ergo Proxy was at least above average, even if some of the episodes were just plain weird, but at least the atmostphere, settings, and english dub were all great.
Ghost In the Shell movie is pretty arthousey, but it has some of the best animation I have seen, and the atmostphere was strong. The tv series Stand Alone Complex is episodic, but fun with the show acknowledging whether the episode was standalone or a part of a complex arc of the season. I only saw the 1st episode of Arise OVA, but was pretty disappointed on how action oriented it was. Alot of people seem to dislike Texhnolyze for it's slow as a snail pacing, and how cold and nihilistic the show is, along with it's controversial ending. The bloopers for Tehnolyze are pretty hilarious though. Here's a sample. (Don't worry, no major spoilers)
Hi there! I believe Ergo Proxy is on my list of anime I plan to watch this year. ^_^ I'm a little behind on it, but I hope to get most of the ones I wanted watched, especially once my exams are over! I might even bump it up the list - I've already switched my order around a few times!
i can definitely see the possible similarities to Psycho Pass, and as that is one of my all-time favourites. :3 thanks for your recommendation, I'll be sure to keep it in mind when I'm choosing what to watch! I'll most likely finished brotherhood first, though. ^_^
