White Album 2 is about a boy and two girls who are musically inclined. The two girls join the lite music club at the behest of Haruki (the mc) and the love triangle ensures. 

I am not a fan of love triangles so this kind of ruins the whole theme for me because as the love triangle further progressed I just got more and more irriated. I just hate love triangles. Everybody gets hurt and this anime doesn't even have a happy ending. Nothing wrong with that, I can appreciate a sad ending as much as the next guy but I mean...they go through all that and are probably still super depressed. I just don't understand such destructive behaviour. 

Now onto some positives, the characters themself are well written and likable for the most part. The animation and the music is also really well done and I thoroughly enjoyed the songs sung to us in this show. The show does a really good job at building the stories behind the two girls and giving us a sense of real friendship between the three music goers. 

Honestly I was having a good time for most of the episodes its just when everything blew up emotion wise towards the end that I got irriated. I just don't understand their actions. I don't understand why Haruki blindly went into a relationship when he had feelings for another, I don't understand why Touma got so aggressive all the sudden at the end there, and I don't understand why Setsuna did what she did, she explains why, and she knew it wouldn't .... look I don't wanna spoil things too much. It was bittersweet and sad towards the end and just dumb. I hate love triangles man.

All in all its not an awful romance anime though, better than some other ones I've seen out there. It just felt unfinished and unfurfilling and thats probably because this is just a small glimpse into a visual novel that is apparently 100 dollars for psp on amazon. I wish we could get a season 2 or a movie to wrap up the rest of the novel and leave me feeling a bit more satifised.
