Thoughts up to chapter 73:

Story- The story is about a kouhai(younger classmen) who has fallen for his senpai(older classmen). I would like to say that the story is simple, but its not sadly. Both of the characters have their own personal problems that they have to fix on their own, but its not that simple. I would honestly think that the protagonists would be better off falling in love with other people but I guess the author choose not to go that route.

Art- The art is to the most point decent enough. I would say its at least good enough to help the story a bit. If I had to be honest I would say the art is one of the series' better points.

Characters- The characters are for the most part hard to really like. If I had to describe the kouhai I would say that he's a simp. Some of the things he does are foolish and succeed in making him look ridiculous in front of his kouhai. Even if he really does like her you'd think he would have learned from his mistakes by now.

The senpai also makes things a bit harder than they should be. I get that she had an old boyfriend and other issues, but her teasing kouhai all the time doesn't really help progress the story. Which unfortunately reminds me of another series that I'm not a fan of. The more I look at the main characters, the more I feel like they aren't meant to be a couple.

Of course that could also be from the fact that the series is overdramatic, and that the main couple just don't have that chemistry.

Overall- I don't think this is a very good rom-com. Most rom-coms have the same exact setting and are reliant on how good the characters develop. But that just doesn't feel like the case here. I don't think I'm going to bother reading the last ten or so chapters, cause in my mind my impression of the series has been made.

The author is clearly inexperienced, which shows from their work. https://www.mangaupdates.com/authors.html?id=26032&orderby=year This one just happened to be better advertised, which is an advantage to most series these days. Overall, not a very enjoyable rom-com.

Series I would recommend would be Maison Ikkoku and After the Rain.

4/10 story
6/10 art
4/10 characters
3/10 overall
