Hello,

I'm the anime entusiast Dubfan.

If you're interested in talking about anime, I would love to be part of the converstation. I'm all ears, just message me on Discord Tur#1306 or Dubfan on the Anime-Planet Discord server. As my name suggests, I only watch anime voiced in English for many reasons. Therefore, I'll be a few weeks behind on the new season releases. I appreciate any anime suggestions. I've written many spoiler-free anime reviews and I would be happy if you read some of them. (Who would want to read a review that talks about the ending.)

If you follow me, then I'll follow you.

If you unfollow me, then I will unfollow you.

It's great to hear you're okay.

Thanks for the recommendations. I haven't gotten to those titles yet, but I will be moving them up in the list to watch now. I really love Studio Ghibli. When I was little, those anime movies were the only ones at my local library, so they were my favorites movies besides Pokemon, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Disney movies.

Every time I see Studio Ghibli, I immediately think about Princesss Mononoke, Spirited Away, or Howl's Moving Castle; a great adventure with great visual story telling. I've just watched From Up On Poppy Hill. It was not bad, but I felt a bit disappointed. At it's core, it was just a predictable high school romance. With twenty minutes left in the movie I knew exactly how it would end. The Wind Rises may start slow, but the story telling was unique, and I had no idea if it would would be a happy ending or not.

Just wanted to say hi and hope all is well with you.

Hurricane Ian looked pretty serious on the news.

Oh yeah it is for sure its more towards war and politics than comedy, I mean there is some but like I would say 85% serious and 15% comedy
