It's alright, no need to apologize. I'm going to be very busy this week so if I'm not going to reply you for a while then you'll know why.  Just thought I'd give you heads up.   Wow, a guy who doesn't like ecchi ?!  That's kind of rare ... :P  I wish I could determine the stuff that aren't relevant to me,  but I really can't. I've become curious about everything.  Even ecchi which actually isn't  my most favorite thing either.  Have you seen High Shcool of the Dead ?  Those ecchi scenes almost killed me,  they were so stupid in a show like that. :P  I don't think they fit in there at all. On the streets people are killed by zombies and then there are bunch of girls who play with each other's tits while taking a bath like nothing horrible was going on.  I mean seriously ...  ridiculous.   Heh, you're not the only one who has been intimidated by One Piece's length. Since I'm also reading the manga I can tell you it will probably be over 1000 episodes altogether because it doesn't seem to be close to the end at all.  And to be honest I'm happy with it because at the moment I couldn't imagine my life without it. :P  Even though you might not believe it there is one anime that's even longer,  Detective Conan. It has 758 + episodes.   And even though I haven't watched it yet I think it's nowhere near it's end either ...   LoL, I haven't met a person who would actually say that they like filler episodes.  I can't really understand the hate for them though ... because they don't bother me at all.  Hmm ... I think it's quite rare when manga has drawn after the anime.  I think it's mostly the other way around.  I mean I've seen the shows that are either based on manga or light novel and I think there has been one or two which are not based on anything.  Just some original shows ...

It turned out that I already have Tsukihime in my 'want to watch' list.  More surprising is the fact that I've actually started to watch Blood+ but stalled it after seeing the first episode.  The surprising part is that I had completely forgotten about it. :P  Well ... I'm sure I'll be able to find time for both of them one day ... when I'm 90 years old or something :D  I have way too many shows I want to see ... but at the moment I have mood and time for One Piece only for so reason.  Maybe because it has healing powers, whenever I  feel down I watch One Piece and all my troubles are washed away ...  Well ... the art was fantastic in the Berserk  but  I just didn't get connected with the story.  It didn't pull me in.  I've also tried both, to read and watch, Naruto  but for some reason I can't accomplish neither of them.  I hear the manga is completed now though ... And ... manga can get weird ?  Care to explain what exactly you mean by that ?

The thing with me and Berserk is that I once tried to read the manga. I think I managed to read about half of it and then I dropped it because well ...  I guess I didn't really like it.  That's why I've also been avoiding watching the anime. But now I've added it to 'want to watch' list because I know a lot of people like it so maybe it's not that bad I thought it was after all ... Mmm ... I haven't seen those vampire shows you mentioned.  Are they good?

Yeah I remember wanting to go on earlier years but then I didn't really see anything I wanted to see on that schedue l. I think they have shown Berserk many times and that's just something I've been trying to avoid. :P    I've slowed down my watching pace when I'm in the middle of a show that I don't want to end too soon. And some people I know thanks to this site have scolded me for it sometimes. They are so eager to share impressions that they can't wait as long as I make them wait. But there are also shows that have had me immobilized and just so amazed that I was unable to do anything  after seeing them.  Shiki  was the most shocking show for me. The best thing I've seen with vampires for sure.

Heh, that's weird.  Bakemonogatari was crazy !  I had to sometimes put it on pause so I could read the subtitles :D  Those episodes were never 24 minutes for me, they were at least 45 or even longer. :D Becuase of all that rewinding and pausing ...   But it was a good show ... I should watch the sequels one day :P  To be honest,  I don't know any other Estonian anime fans personally and I have no idea how many of us are out there.  I managed to go to JAFF last year for the first time and only once. Maybe it was because the movie I went to see was shown in the middle of the day or maybe there was some other reason ... there weren't too many people watching it with me.

People are too fixed on earning money.  Of course it's  important to be able to support your family and offer them the life they deserve  but it doesn't necessarily mean you can't spend a little to enjoy life.  I agree, I think most people have lost their ability to have fun but there are a few like you and me who still know how to do it.  And yeah, I've noticed that stigmatization thing and it's quite annoying.   I like that quote :)   And well ... to be honest I hate dubbed stuff.  :P  I always search for things with subs  and if I can't find then I search for dual audio things and convert them to files with only subs.  :D  I just love Japanese so much and I'm always quite mad when I've accidentally gotten myself a version where I can't hear it.   English voice actors are somehow so emotionless as far as I've heard them ... it's like they only read what they are supposed to read and that's it.   Wow doughnuts ... I haven't eaten those for like ... 20 years I think :D  Can't say about myself the same unfortunately, always have to watch what I eat ...  You're lucky :)

Heh ... I don't think that being a grownup and liking the stupid things is impossible.  Grownups are allowed to have fun too you know, they don't have to me serious and all practical or businesslike all the time. And what is that whole  'acting my age' shit anyway?  People can act however they like whenever they like, there's no need to be bound by some stupid standards and limits society has given us ...   Having fun isn't a privilege for kids only you know ... being a grownup doesn't mean you can't have fun. My mother for example is almost 60 and she is playing really childish games on facebook because that's fun and relaxing activity for her. Being a grownup doesn't mean you can't have fun ...   Well eerm ... to be honest ...  I've never bought anime ...  I eerm ... *cough*  use other ... ways ...   Hehe, what did you do ?  Eat a huge bucket of ice cream or what ? :D

Heh,  I wouldn't actually have mentioned it if  I didn't find it funny myself.  I could have thought of some boring story but I decided it was better to tell the truth. I mean we're both grownups here ... why should I hide something that I'm not particulary even ashamed of? I thought it would have been pointless. I think denying that I watched porn is worse than to admit actually... :D  Hmm ... that's interesting what you said about you wanting more quality after your time away from anime, because I think it's exact opposite for me. Like I said in my bio,  I've become curious about those shows that are rated low.Granted, I still haven't found the time to watch too many of them yet, but there are a lot of those that are rated with low scores that I want to see.  Ah, don't worry. I don't feel insulted nor offended at all.  I've grown myself a thick skin  over the years, it's not so easy to upset me.

Tere ! :D   Hm ...  what I had on my profile you ask...  To be honest it was so long time ago that I don't really remember but there was some information about Estonia and a few pictures of the Old Town in Tallinn, I think. I actually stumbled on manga before I got interested in anime. And funny (or maybe not so funny) story is that at first I started looking for some ... eerm ... how shall I put it ... um ... naughty stuff when I was about ... 18 maybe? Once again I don't really remember the exact time. But I do remember that I accidentally found other kind of manga as well. :P  And after I had started to read One Piece I found out about anime and I just found myself browsing for them. The first anime that caught my interest was  Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I watched it and  fell love with it and I think that's where the addiction began. It didn't last too long though, stuff happened in real life, I didn't have the time to keep on watching or reading any of this stuff and I even managed to forget that they existed.  Somehow  I managed to find my way back just recently though (last year to be exact), and now I'm more addicted than I ever been addicted to anything else.   Even though I discovered both, manga and anime, so long ago, 'watched' and 'read' lists aren't anything great.  That's because (like I already mentioned in my bio, I believe ...)  I have an awful memory and sadly I can't remember everything I've read/watched in the past.   How about you?  How did you become acquainted with manga and anime?  P.S.  While writing my bio I not even once thought that I should write it so everyone would think of me as an interesting person, in fact ... I didn't think at all. It was like my fingers moved on the keyboard on their own...  no effort on my part.  Weird, but true, just thought you should know ...
