To quickly summarize: an interesting and unique background story bogged down by generic writing and plot developments. Inglis, the main character, is the only character worth mentioning in this anime. She is overly powerful, witty, smart, and simultaneously adheres to being the comic relief. Every character is one-dimensional and boring, with the exception of the awkward girl who likes to sleep (and Inglis)- who is one-dimensional yet entertaining. A nice twist on isekai to have the MC have japanese-style exorcism in a feudal Europe scenario. It runs kind of like an slice of life, and even the death and suspenseful plot points seem somewhat watered down. At one point there is an unlikable prince and the altercation gets defused at the last second when it didn't seem right. His aide was like, "okay everyone this charade has gone on long enough. Can you forgive my silly prince?" and he was like yeah thats fine. It happens again in the season finale which I won't spoil but basically it all seems rather toothless.
