That's okay! I hope nothing was too bad!
Man, that'd be so interesting if Yaoyorozu were a villain. It probably wouldn't make me like her any better, but that would be a really fun plot twist. (Now I'm hoping you're right...)
Heh heh heh, Tubi has some Naruto movies. I'll be checking those out too, along with Fairy Tail... I need to stop looking through the lists now, I've been looking through them for about five minutes and I know I'll get sucked in if I say "just five more."
Same here, I spend at least ten minutes on a single line before I'm happy with the shape or angle it's at. I attempted to draw Bakugo once, but he came out a little on the... chubby side. I think I messed up the proportions a bit, so that's how he turned out that way. Deku and Shoto were also in the same reference picture, so I might've been distracted from all of the other details in the picture. Coloring isn't too bad for me either, but if it's a drawing of characters that aren't from my head, I tend to not color them just because I don't have the right colors for any of them. (Unless I'm drawing Ninja Turtles. Somehow, I always have the right colors for them.)
Dang, if it were that cold where I live, I think that would motivate me to move somewhere nice and warm. I hope you stay warm as well! Having frozen fingers make it difficult to type.
Ha ha, no worries! If I were doing the same, I'd probably be having a mental breakdown, and it would take much longer than 10 minutes to press the button. Hope it all works out!
The reason why I don't like Yaoyorozu is actually because of her outfit, but also because there have been a few parts in the show and manga where I felt like... Eh, it's hard to explain. She's not the worst character, Mineta is, but there's something about her that annoys me (other than her outfit), and I can't put my finger on it. I don't think that's a good enough explanation, but I'm not sure how to put it into words.
I'll certainly let you know when I start watching it! I'll have to check Tubi out... (Just checked it out, I just about died when I saw the anime section. Definitely going to watch when I have the time!) I enjoy drawing anime characters, but I usually draw in my own style because I don't usually feel like I need a reference. With anime (and cartoon characters in general), I just look at the reference and draw what I see, so I'm not drawing anything different, I guess. I think the only tips I can really give are looking at anime styles you enjoy and "taking" certain things you like about them, like if you like the style of hair or eyes or things like that. I'm really bad at drawing anime without a reference, I just figured out how to draw eyes and I'm not even going to tell you about the hair, other than I can't draw it. And charcoal pencils... Oh man, I'm terrible with charcoal in general, but I wish I were better with it because, I agree, the effects are just plain amazing. I usually draw with graphite pencils and "ink" it in afterwards if I'm going to add color, but I also like keeping some of my drawings as little sketches. I wish I could show you a drawing that I'm semi-proud of, but you're not able to upload pictures on Anime Planet, so I'll have to figure out a different way.
I hope you have a great day as well, and that you get into one of those colleges you applied for! (I also hope I don't jinx you!)
Don't worry about it! I totally get it, schoolwork's definitely a bigger priority. I wish you luck with the college applications, I hope you go to the college you want!
Oh man, the manga is amazing! The art just keeps getting better and better, and so does the story! I seriously can't wait for the sixth season now, I'm pretty sure all of the major plot twists (for lack of better words) are going to happen around then, or at least in the seventh season if MHA gets that far. Oh, and do you have any least favorite characters in MHA? I don't think there are too many that I don't really like, other than Yaoyorozu. And the relationship between Tetsutetsu and Kirishima is awesome, they're both so cute and manly (somehow those go together?). With liking characters, I mostly think of if I would like them as real people (except for the villains, I go with their backstory, their looks, their motivations, etc.), which also includes if I would actually be friends with them if I knew them personally, if that makes any sense. Like I mentioned before, I didn't like Bakugo too much until recently, mostly because his attitude towards everyone was not admirable at all, and he was the sort of person that I would rather avoid in real life until later on in the anime/manga.
I seriously need to find where I can watch Yu Yu Hakusho now, it looks really interesting! I just hope I have enough time to watch it, schoolwork can take a long time for me (and in my free time, I don't always watch anime, I usually try to improve my drawings skills).
I'm also not very good at communicating through spoken words, I end up stuttering or talking too fast or loudly whenever I get really excited. I think I have a resting bored, disgusted, or tired face (I can't tell which) so a lot of the time it looks like I'm not interested in a conversation even though I might be, so I totally get it. It's also really nice to talk to other people who like anime, I only know a few other people with the same interest, but chatting with them can be hard if the both of us are supposed to be focusing on what we're learning.
...I'm bad at ending these things, sorry about that. Hope you have a great day!
Aw, thank you! I seriously appreciate it! And trust me, the fifth season is absolutely amazing, I think you're going to love it. Who're some of your favorite MHA characters? I really like Shoto Todoroki, Dabi, Twice, Tomura Shigaraki, Kurogiri, Kirishima, and Bakugo, although I didn't really start liking him until recently when he got a little bit more character development. And on a scale of one to ten, how good are the other MHA movies? I'm so ashamed to say this, but I haven't watched any of them yet, although I really want to. I'm also really looking forward to the new movie as well, it seems like it's going to be really good (from what I could tell in the ad I saw). And, last question, what anime is your profile picture from? It looks really good!
(I also have weird eating habits, I can totally relate.)
Hello! Thank you for the follow, I am following back! If you ever feel like chatting, just let me know!
Have a great day/night/snacktime!
