Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko, or By the Grace of the Gods as it's now known in english, is one of my favorite web novel series that's been turned into a Light Novel. I'm basically reviewing this from the web novel view, as the light novel is only on volume 2 in english, and the light novels have been pretty faithful to the web novel thus far. By the Grace of the Gods is a slice of life type series, so the pacing is slow and relaxing. The world building and character building takes its time as things progress at a steady pace.
