Poco's Udon World (Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari) takes you in to a cute world set in the Udon Prefecture of Japan. Just like Sweetness and Lighting, along with other anime where someone takes on the challange to raise a child on their own, Poco's Udon World does just that and more. In Poco, the child isn't a human child, but a tanuki (raccon dog) in the form of a child. He gets taken in by a human named Souta. From there Souta takes on the challange of a raising a child on his own.

The characters are all loveable, right down to the 'anime' character that Poco loves, Gaogao-chan. At the end of each Poco episode, we get a small animated short of Gaogao-chan's adventures.

If you like a good slice of life where a parent cares for their child, this anime might be right up your alley.
