Wow! I don't normally write reviews, but I guess I should start, cause I can't decide if Shiki was good or bad. If you do take time to watch it, make sure you watch the OVA's in order as you watch the show (OVA eps 20.5 & 21.5) {this show also had the worst 'hair'ever and the worse character of any anime I've watched. Masao Murasako, Crap! I mean of all the anime I've seen he makes me want to punch my TV} The big draw for me to finish this one was the 'crisis of morals in humanity' that the show brings as it nears its end. Having only read the Plot Summary and no reviews. I was totally disappointed with this show. It starts incredibly slow. Not just the story but charater devloment as well. Then it turns out to be a BL (boy love) anime, and I'm fine with that. However, even if I put female charaters in place of men in my mind, I still couldn't make a good story out of it. And to top it off the VR fighting wasn't even able to bring the story up for me, and I really enjoy VR stories. Oh well, if you can push yourself past episode 4 then you may like it more than me. But the choice is yours.

My reviws may be short and not often. But after getting bored with some knockoffs over and over,  I found this rather refreshing. It does have a mixed feeling of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero (Hagure Yuusha no Estetica), Freezing, and Fate/Zero with a little slice of life/ high school added for flavor and a touch of un-nude fan service to boot. However, the whole super over-power save the day (going Super Sayain mode style) can get redundent. But showing spell casting time is closer to a real D20 RPG's as opossed to 'insta-casting' stuff over and over is nice.  If World Break... See full review
