Say "I love you."

Jan 12, 2015

Children are mean, that's what I learned when I was young, even in Highschool they don't change much. This anime is what what it is. Slice of life, beautiful and ugly at the same time, more beauty then ugly though.

I didn't expect too much when I started watching this, but I was so drawn to the characters. It beautifully potrays my ideas in life, that you can't judge a book by it's cover. You can never tell what kind of story someone has gone through by just looking at them. Eventhough this is a fairly short anime, I think the character development is pretty good, Some of the characters seem a little under developed though, I would have loved to have seen more of Asami Oikawa, also in the beginning she seems to have bigger breasts then towards the ending.

I usually don't really go for cute or love stories. But this story sort of reminded me of Kimi ni todoke and I loved that story so much. Although I think this story is more realistic in a way. The self doubt Mei goes through while in a relationship, I've been there, I've put myself down and like Aiko Mutou said, I've self destructed relationships more often then not. Most parts of this anime I could relate to, which is probably why I gave it such a high rating. I liked the opening a lot, but after a while the song get's a bit boring because it's sang in child a childlike manner, which is not really my style.

I think even if you usually don't like love stories or slice of life, then this is still a really good watch, but then again, my taste does tend to change over time. You should definitely give this anime a chance, it might surprise you.
