The animation and sound were top notch! As for the rest...well...

So am I really watching Dragonball Z? Or am I watching some Slice of Life garbage where Japanese people think they can perform comedy by parodying "everyday life?" There were some annoying bits in the series, and it got worse over time. So I guess it culminates in this movie.

To sum it up, the actual fighting doesn't fill up that much of the movie. The majority of the movie is cheeky scenarios where kids are caught in compromising situations, or Vegeta, the prince of badassery, is reduced to a comedic relief. Oh yeah, complete with the cartoon noises you would hear on loony toons.

What the hell did I just watch? I am disgusted.

Edit: Reading all the other reviews, I am drawn to the conclusion that people who watch anime are ruining anime. I'm going back to watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
