Waiting really sucks and sometimes it doesn't even pay off which is really annoying. Well if you learn Japanese it'll only benefit you cause then you'd have learnt a new language and won't ever have to wait for translations. :D
I'm not sure if that's the best way and I'm sure many will disagree with you maybe even me but I always watch the anime first then the manga cause I want to know what happens next.

I know that feeling but you'll be fine lol just have to find something else to binge watch/read. ^^
Yup to be honest that's the only reason I ever read any material relating an anime :D

Yeah unfortunatly it's always like that which is why its sometimes best just to watch the anime and read nothing about it's origins xD
