You don't understand the series? Of course you don't. It's anime adaptation is not that good. You should try the manga or visual novel. It is a mind game. Is the witch real or not? Solve the series to know of the witch is real. The witch here is representing the killer. When you heard a mass murder in an isolated island with great magical history ofcourse people would think it is done by witches. It is like death note proving the other player is wrong. When you don't saw what happened and it is impossible to be done by humans. Well you conclude that is is done by demons and witches. It is a murder mystery crime. The show is in part 4 but has 8 parts in total. It is hard to explain but... this story (not anime version) is one of the best I saw. Its hard to solve when you are on middle of magic and science. Its just as simple as.. "IS THE WITCH REAL OR NOT?"
