This a dystopian society that wants conformity. I always enjoyed this animation, it certainly took my number 1 spot! The bond between the two main characters, are undeniably strong and will pull anyone in. The story doesn't drag itself on either, each episode gets to the point, furthering the story at a great pace. It's certainly not a typical "BL" but it indicates hints to it. I would find it more on the lines of bromance. This anime will definitely tug your strings and make you cry.
