I don’t even understand what “landing place for chalk or limestone” means x’D Me being surrounded by chalk and limestone kinda makes me think of some kind of a grave and I have no idea why xD I feel like farmers daughter is a common meaning, even though I don’t know if that’s actually the case. I like earth soil xD Farmers daughter is cool too but earth soil sound good in English xD
I completely agree! I get tired of searching for good manga too xD To be honest, I’m not really picky when it comes to manga but it happens a lot that descriptions sound boring and I won’t read those. And when I think that descriptions sound good, I get disappointed a lot too. Dude that made me think of a particular manga with the detective genre. It started really good but then some weird shit went down in the last chapter and it freaking destroyed everything. Like, I spent my time reading that shit just to find out that the ending ruins everything. I seriously wanted to bang my head against a wall at that time x’D
Anyway, let me know if you don’t like me calling you dude or those kind of things. I kinda have a habit of calling everyone dude or man x’D

That must mean that those are good! I feel you on wanting to read new things that are finished already. A couple of days ago, I kinda “cleaned out” my to-read list. Like, every manga/manhwa that’s still ongoing or isn’t fully translated yet, I threw them all to my stalled list. I didn't even start reading those. No remorse xD I’m just going to read the complete ones first and keep up with the ongoing ones that I’m reading already and then I’ll see what I’ll do lol
yeah. The homework given by online school is astronomical T-T, I hardly have time for myself during the week since, to add onto that, I have to regulary do tuition, play sports and etc. Of course, I understand completely why I have to do such and I don't fault anyone, but still.. sometimes its alot. Well, good luck on your last year of college!
I completely relate to you. When quarintine started, orginally, I assumed that I would be watching lots of anime. But I reached sort of a block, because I couldn't bring myself to finish Haikyuu S2, since I knew the ending of the match against Seijoh and Karusuno, it was heartbreaking for me because I root for both teams! Anyway, while this happened, I just kept reading more and more yaoi's, then going ahead to read BL wattpads (do you read wattpads?), where I found 'I reincarnated into a novel as a psychotic villain', I fell inlove with that genre and tried to find anymore BL isekai, not that succesful, but I did find plenty of hetrosexual ones so :D Naturally, came the rising popularity of isekai as well so I easily was addicted. I found Black Haze and Solo Levelling, and that is where my appreciation for the action genre began. So my manga reads skyrocketed! I think before quarintine it was 80.. something but now it is ~131, which is alot for me :D
Tracing back to anime, I recently picked up Death Note again! Gosh, I love it! The mystery and the rilvary between L and Light is wonderful. *sob* My sister and I are going to watch NoGameNoLife movie, but we have to wait since we rather not let our parents see all the ecchi scenes >///< Also, I have started watching a K-Drama called 'Tunnel'. Its very interesting :D
That is true. I doubt I would have ever found my two favourite mangas: Imawa no Kuni no Alice and Tokyo Revengers. So, for that, I am indeed grateful. Have you heard of the site mangago? The community in the site is so fun! I have read lots of things such as a fanfic between GodxJesus, ZoomxGoogle meet and (i think) orange x apple?.. They give great reccommendations as well~! I have met lots of great people on there. :D
Yes, though I didn't entirely hate the anime, there were much more better mangas that could have been adapted in my opinon :"< Oh, I was planning to watch Great Pretender..someday because it is available on netflix and it has been reccommended to me before! I mentioned above that one of my favourite manga is Tokyo Revengers, well, I am really excited because the live-action will come out on October 9, 2020 and the anime somewhere in 2021. Agh! I cant wait! >.<
Yeah I also understand why students would have to find places themselves but it’s not easy to get in. It’s way easier if a teacher would do it. I’m glad there was someone to help you!

I’m pretty good at understanding English but sometimes my mind just goes blank xD Dude that made me want to look up the meaning of my name and in Dutch it means harbor but when I look it up in English it means things like “landing place for chalk or limestone”. Like.. wtf? xD I had no idea that names had different meanings in different languages 😅

Same! I hate reading mangas that aren’t completed. I mean, hate is a big word but I really don’t like waiting for chapters (same as you). I’m actually reading a couple of ongoing ones but I started reading most of them when I just got into manga and my ass didn’t know yet that ongoing works was a thing x’D So now I'm stuck with waiting xD
Yeah, I'm just not into cars, but I'll admit that Initial D's drama and ost were pretty engaging. I have only seen a little of it though.
I'm not a huge Hiroyuki Sawano fan, but I do feel his music works well with certain types of series- Promare being one of them. Yeah, I have seen BNA. It was a fun little show.
