Noblesse: Awakening

Feb 15, 2016

I had no idea what to expect from this as I had never heard of Noblesse before, but I was not disappointed. It seems more of a prologue or a first episode to a 12-episode run, and if the episode number 0 is anything to go by, more episodes will follow. A fair warning to those of you who've never read the manhwa, or heard of Noblesse, don't listen to the people claiming this is not worth watching - be your own judge on that. I don't know how 'amazing' the webtoon is, or how incomplete the story as a whole is unless you've read it, but this OVA? It's a complete experience by itself and doesn't require you to... Isuca

Oct 15, 2015

This is, so far, the only title I simply couldn't bear to watch and had to drop. The only one out of the ~1500 titles I've seen - and that's saying something. The animation was ok, the sounds & voices were ok, and the plot seemed interesting enough. Sadly it was completely butchered by the whimpy male protagonist, the poor fanservice and the fact that they tried to forcibly turn this into a harem anime - a poorly made one at that. Not to mention the fact that they just had to include a character that intentionaly stirs up the plot, namely Nadeshiko, as the know-it-all matchmaker between the male... See full review

Akame ga Kill!

Jan 29, 2015

Just a few short words on the show - you can be the judge of whether or not you agree with me after you've seen it. There are no spoilers! Also, I suggest you read to the end of this review regardless of whether you agree with what is said in the beginning or not. First of all the show isn't all that they hyped it to be. While it does have it's serious moments and at times almost manages to get you attached to one character that's really all it does. As soon as you notice you're starting to like a character one way or another they get killed - same goes for the characters you might come to hate. I am sure... See full review

Magical Warfare

Oct 29, 2014

Although the series was severely predictable, I loved the concept and story. To be fair I knew pretty much everything that was going to happen after I had seen episode 3 or 4 - the show doesn't offer anything new. The biggest shortcoming of Mahou Sensou was the rushed, inconcistent story. From what I saw this was originally supposed to be a 24/26 -episode show but it was later decided it would only have 12 episodes. And true enough, we're missing entire episodes which makes following the show extremely hard.To mention some of the missing episodes, there were obviously supposed to be an episode or two... Nisekoi

Aug 26, 2014

Nisekoi is a brilliant show. If you're a fan of romantic comedies, you won't be disappointed. I won't be writing a full review as there are quite a few good ones already. Instead I'll just share you my thougths on Nisekoi. Now, before I go any further I would like to asure you that I did make a mistake in the ratings. The overall rating reflects mainly on two points; potential and how it compared to the one-shot. Pre-word: I rarely read manga. In fact, it wouldn't be far off to say I never read manga. However, through some weird coincidence, I found a copy of Nisekois one-shot literally two days... See full review
