The reason I don't like Suzaku was cause his ideals seem hollow and he often contradicts himself. He says he's gonna change the system from within but all he does is follow orders like a dog. I like him more as a student than a soldier.

Though by the end of the series he grew on me so I don't hate him anymore.

And glad to find another Magi fan here.
