Well I'm an indian but I don't speak my mother tongue and don't know any indian languages in general because I've been brought up in an english-speaking country, which is why I thought I should learn Hindi! I'm currently taking a break though, because everytime I try to learn hindi (this is the 4th time), I keep forgetting the letters and completely stop learning the language. :(
