Hello there, my name is Aaron and I'm just your run of the mill anime enthusiast.
How I got into anime? I was a fan of Inuyasha for years, first seeing it as a kid, but it never really opened me up to trying out different anime titles. As time passed, I would ocassionally see bits and pieces of shows that sparked my curiosity in anime such as Death Note and Gundam 00. I always wanted to see more but just never knew when to catch them. It took years later around 2009 and after watching shows like Bleach, Naruto, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood the deal was sealed, making me an avid anime fan. Way back even before Inuyasha, I had a brief history with shows such as Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z, with them being among some of my favorites as a kid, but along with alot of things I ended up falling out of them as I got older.
Update: Thanks to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse game, the Dragon Ball Z series peaked my interest again and I since rewatched it.
I watch both sub and dub, but prefer english adaptations because I'd rather watch anime than read it.

seriously? Young people now days smh! I could name a few anime that would shock your toes off.
Hiya! Just dropping a quick note about a change to our featured custom list process. Ages ago we gave a handful of users the ability to self-feature lists, but now we have a more streamlined group of mods helping feature the lists, so for any new ones just drop a note in the thread and the lists can get quickly featured :)
On that note, i changed a few of your lists to featured - in addition the "worst of the crew", "4 star average anime", "english dubs", "live action adaptations" ones could be featured as well, we just ask that they're either set to the default alphabetical sort if not ranked, or if ranked in a certain order, put a note in the description explaining what it is. If you're interested in those being featured please take a look at that and reply in the thread once they're ready for a mod :) "favorite minor characters" i think is a fun idea as well, but would work better as "Best" vs favorite and would need reasons for all of them (same sorting question too)

Heya! Ended up here because I randomly found your anime openings/endings list. Some great songs in there :3 Also ended up going through your ♥-characters (all 13 pages o:) and, well, very amount much wow (+_+) I need to step up my anime-planet gaaaame~

Hello, and thanks for adding custom lists on Anime-Planet!
When you add lists on A-P, you can set the privacy level to “private” (personal notes) or “people visiting my profile” (“my top” lists, personal history lists, anime challenges, etc). (There are also “everyone” Featured lists -“best of” type lists that are helpful to the community). The default value is “people visiting my profile” as most lists fall under that category - these lists can be seen by anyone visiting your profile, as well as across the site for anyone following you.
Some of your lists have been changed to “people who visit my profile” because they do not list reasons why the anime titles are on the list and/or because several are"personal sharing/impressions"-type lists rather than ones that are geared towards helping the community. If you eventually decide to turn these into Community/public lists, feel free to request Featured List status here. (Note that ALL of your lists do not need to be Community Lists in order to have your Community Lists featured. You can have a mix of Profile and Community lists. Just be sure your Community lists meet the Privacy level guidelines for public/”everyone” lists.) Here’s a full writeup of the privacy levels.
