Hello there.

Welcome to my page, hope I'm not causing any huge loading issues for your little computer/phone/device there... Anime is a pretty big part of me, otherwise I would not be here, clearly. I don't have a particular anime type that I enjoy above all others, I like whatever catches my eye.

I was introduced to anime by a close friend of mine, she showed me Skip Beat! and 5 Centimeters Per Second, but Bleach was the anime that got me hooked back in 2011. Before I knew what anime was I had been watching Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Spider Riders every Saturday morning as a child. . . I actually still Duel and collect cards

I have graduated from one college twice now, and have returned to the other college to finish my Associates in Science, majoring in Biology. Afterwards we shall see where it will take me. I'm thinking infectious diseases, botany, genetics, and Entomology... but there are many other things I'd like to do as well. I have a great love for History, Prehistory, Anthropology, and Archaeology as well. It's irritating being interested in many things, but I'd rather not have no interest in anything instead. That would be horribly dull.
I look forward to reading and learning for the rest of my life.

I'm not a big talker, I mostly just listen and watch. . . but will speak up if something needs to be said. You never have to fear talking to me or asking for help.
P.S. I never log out, soooo just cause it says I'm on doesn't mean I am currently present ^^;

I rate them based on the culmination of everything from things as of little importance as the characters' hair styles, to the overall plot and emotions ( biggest factor, not gonna lie) I felt while watching/reading it, and how it was carried out. These are personal ratings and therefore don't mean much to you, take them with a grain of salt.

I break my ratings down into three categories:

Would Watch/Read Again

May or May Not Watch/Read Again

Np, I hope you had a nice holiday!

Why thank you. Yeah still abit stressed these days but otherwise the days are nice enough :D

Same. I also prefer to finish something I start. Unless I dropped it. But I usually only do that early on. Cause once there's a time investment in place then its like ok I've wasted this much time already. Might as well finish this crap so it doesnt feel like a total waste of my life lol.

Awesomesauce :D Oh yes your right it is indeed on your profile lol. Expect a request with the same username minus the numbers. ;)

I've finished it by now. :P Yeah I can see why you felt that way lol. The first few episodes were so dark and depressing I felt like I was getting crushed haha. But then episode 4 comes and I'm like I FUCKING LOVE YOU RAPHTALIA!!! hahaha
Yeah its one of my all time favourites now as well. In fact I think its my favourite anime of all time ever now lol. I loved it that much. Honestly its one of, if not the best works of fiction I've seen in any medium ever! True 10/10 show imho!

One of my discord friends did tell me that was a perk. That they're much quicker to consume.

Dw its a high priority! Especially now that its been recommended twice by people here on AP :D

Thank you, me too ^^

Hmm yes. Your enthusiasm is truly infectious. I may very well start reading the Light novels much sooner then I was going to originally hehe XD.

Well I mean I did follow you.. I don't follow people until I've read there bio, checked a few of their lists (usually I look for Favourite's lists) and then I use the sites Compare Shared Anime List feature for the final judgement based on what we liked (Overlord, Rurouni Kenshin) and disliked (Fairy Gone, still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the second season lol. Even though I do want to just to see the end.) by checking the ratings. Once I see we have a few things in common boom ya've gotcha self a new follower :D

You use Discord? Awesomesauce ^^ We can add each other there if you ever wanna talk about anime and stuff. Entirely up to you though, no pressure :)

Atm I'm currently watching The Rising Of The Shield Hero, just started it the day before yesterday. And I AM LOSING MY SHIT. Im loving it so much that I literally had a "WTF this is what anime is capable of!!??" Moment lol.

It is so so so freaking good, I am in love with the Naofumi and Raphtalia. I have literally never loved two main characters this much before. I relate so much with Naofumi's personality, and Raphtalia! My God I love her so much it actually hurts lol

I swear its as if these two personalities were hand crafted to be appealing to my brain and I utterly adore them both. <3 <3 <3

I've legit never had a show stir so much emotion within me. I've never hated a character so much before (I think you know who >.>) and I've never felt so much overwhelming warmth, love and compassion. In short. Im LOSING MY SHIT LOL

Not to mention the scenery, graphics, fights, action, soundtrack, monsters. Its all phenomenal so far.

I see you've rated it 5 stars and watched it 3 times. I'm only on episode 11 atm (so no spoliers plz! <3 ) but I already have rated it 5 stars as well XD

Cool to know we got something else in common ^^

"The first question you should ask yourself is if you want to try to read a complete mange or an ongoing manga. ^-^"

Completed for sure. My discord friends love Hunter X hunter, one piece and berserk but then I go to check them out it says 1000+ chapters and I'm like 00000.00000 lol

"The manga and anime are pretty much 100% accurate to each other as far as I've gotten into it; the manga moves fast and so does the anime. It's of course another Isekai manga/anime, but it's a touch different from the rest and I quite enjoy that."

I see. Thank you for your input :D

"Ah, I see I see. I'd say Claymore is a good option if you're already interested in it and want to read it enough :> I see you've added all of the Overlord books as well! Lovely addition ^-^"

You do? Sweet. I shall officially dub Claymore to me the first manga I read then thank you. :D

Oh hells yeah. I haven't started reading em yet but I fully intend too! Plus light novels being books is probably more accessible for me atm anyways. But yeah I'm defo gonna read those bad boys at some point.

"I'd say it's an excellent starting point!"

The seal of approval has been granted!! XD Thank you for taking the time to look at it <3

"Right now I'm rewatching all of it and watching some of it for the first time to see how different it is to me and how it affects me and how I understand it now that it's been so long since I've seen any of it. I like to do that with a lot of anime.
I'll go back and rewatch an anime after a year or more just to see how my feelings, thoughts, and perspective have changed since the last time I had seen it. A lot of times I understand a lot of things better, or in a different way. Sometimes I've even had my entire opinion about the anime change after coming back several years later. It's a journey that's always changing and growing as you do the same :>"

I get that. I need to do that with all my older animes that I watched with my big brother years ago. I honestly don't even know what I should rate most of them cause it was so long ago. Or I worry that maybe I'm rating something to high or low cause of my faulty memory.

"Ah, I see I see. In those cases, if the anime interested me and I liked it enough, I went to the manga to glean any missing information the anime left out. A lot of anime omit things that were in their corresponding manga due to factors such as time, pacing, money, or simply because they have an expectation that the people watching it have read the manga already and wouldn't be left in confusion if anything were missing from the show."

What your saying makes alot of sense. I can see that all that being common problems when adapting stuff.

"Whew, that took a while to write xD I had to go back and forth between your comment and here to make sure I didn't miss anything. I hope I didn't miss anything x'D"

Yeah its kinda difficult cause the profile your commenting on and the profile you have the message on has to be on different tabs. Therefore you need to rely on memory cause you have no visible text to use a reference to what your typing. That's why i sometimes quote like I did in this message. Easier for me to not forget what I was typing about mid sentence lol.

I have indeed heard of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. The anime has been a high priority on my want to watch list, I just haven't got around to it yet. Didn't know there was a manga but that makes sense considering most animes are based of off mangas XD Hmm its not a bad choice but Idk if it should be my first... What did you like about it?

After looking through and comparing our manga lists I see you have read Claymore. That was one I was very interested in cause my brother watched the anime and read the manga and he said the manga is even cooler then the anime (and he spoke highly of the anime itself minus a single thing he didnt he didnt like. Which he said was handled better in the manga anyways) its even in the list I have of manga that look the most promising to me.

Got anything to say about it? :D

I really wanna watch Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle cause it looks funny and I have Golden Kamuy in my watch list too.

Idk about Tokyo Ghoul though... I hate the horror genre so I'm wary of it...

I've finished Karas now. It was... flawed. I spoke about it abit in the Daily Anime Thoughts forum thread. Basically what I said was I give it a 7/10 cause the fights and graphics were really spectacular. The best I've seen in anime so far. But the plot and story had holes and the ending leaves many big questions unanswered. Like you need to really pay attention to have any idea what's going on and then after your done you have to read the wikipedia page so that you can understand it "well enough". But even after that those unanswered questions will remain... >.<

I think it is good for one watch. Not good enough to rewatch though.
