This anime is a masterpiece. It takes an innovative episodic approach to story telling, and it does so accompanied by an extremely entertaining soundtrack and wonderfully executed visuals, from the movement of its characters to the environments and the way action scenes have a powerful impact on the set pieces. Each character is uniquely nuanced, and they are explored in a very "show, don't tell" manner. The show is able to emotionally connect its audience to each of its characters whenever it pleases, all while taking the audience on a blast of a space adventure full of battles, chases, disasters, and freaky misshaps. It's well paced, comedic, ironic, and even gut wrenching when it wants to be. If you are a human being that enjoys anything fun, watch this show.
