I took physics in high school and didn't like it very much, but part of that I blame on my teacher. It was her first year and she was big on the concept of learning together. We did not get along very well and I dropped after like, a semester. :P The concepts and equations are easy enough, I just have a hard time with the whole application part of it.

I don't know how fancy the gingerbread pyramid would be, but I could sure give it a try. I don't know how well it will turn out, but I'll let you know. :-)

LOL. Our issue was not that we did not have enough frosting, it was just that there was so much that it was sliding all over the place. After the frosting hardened a little bit though we did not have a problem. Currently, it's sitting on the kitchen counter mostly eaten except for three walls and the base. My mom and I were looking at getting another one cause they are really a lot of fun to build.

I odn't know that you would have to exclusively draw up blueprints, so much as you would design them on a computer. My best friend is an engineering major and she doesn't have to do any sort of drawings...just a lot of advanced math...but I guess it sort of depends on what sort of engineering you go into; like, chemical engineers have to take a lot of chemistry and whatnot.... :P I'm babbling....

The edible construction came out rather fantastic, considering I cut open the bag of frosting a little too much so my friend and I had to use our fingers to spread everything...it was a mess and frosting got everywhere. My cousins also had a gingerbread house to put together and they were laughing at my friend and I  - partially because of the frosting and because our roof kept sliding off and the walls were caving in, but whatever. Ours was unique and we didn't just copy the picture that was on the box. XP

I got left with it (my friend was afraid the roof would fall off on her drive home) and I was going to throw it away, but my mom and my brother were like, "NOO!! RELINQUISH THE GINGERBREAD!!" So now it is on our counter...half eaten...quite delicious....

YAY for pie!!  Or something....

Every year my mother gets two huge turkeys because she wants leftovers. As if there are not enough leftovers with the turkey we cook for dinner. :P There will not be a plethora of pies this year, which I am kind of happy about - we told my grandmother, who normally brings the pies, to bring a casserole. Some family friends are bringing only two pies. :D

Also, we are decorating gingerbread houses, which I am kind of excited about. I know it's more a Christmas thing, but I haven't done it in a while, and my friend thought it would be awesome.

That sounds like fun. :) I always liked hanging out with my friends before the break.

Yeah, the leftovers are good, but sometimes the quantity is quite daunting...we make food like we are feeding 20 people not 10. :P

What kind of pie do you usually like at Thanksgiving?
