What I Liked: It's cheesy as all get-out. The character designs, especially for the Goddesses. The plot is enjoyable enough, even if some of the more dramatic moments come off as narmy. Urd. The soundtrack, despite being incredibly dated, was great and had nice variation to it. Story is mostly well-paced. The romance between Belldandy and Keiichi is kind of sweet (in a very bubblegum 90's way). Both the super-catchy Opening Theme and saccarine-sweet Ending Theme. Lanelle Markgraf is great as Urd, as is Juliet Cesario as Belldandy.

What I Didn't: It's cheesy as all get-out. Suffers from Penultimate Episode Mood Whiplash. Average and unfortunately dated animation. Ending comes off as a bit overblown with way too much going on. The rest of the Dub cast is passable but not awe-inspiring. Episode 3.

Final Verdict: Even though it's a product of a bygone era of bubblegum pop and shoulder pads, the Oh My Goddess OVA is almost as charming as it was back in 1993. It has a great boppy soundtrack, a well-paced and fun plot (that unfortunately ends in a convoluted fashion), pleasing character designs and one of the more cuter couples to come from 90's anime. It's pure cheesy goodness that's worth at least one viewing.
