Though the same can be said about NGE & SEL. NGE is ultimately about depression, SEL touches on loneliness & reality. Both of them focus on the human psyche, specifically that of a teenager's. So if any of that may affect you, I wouldn't reccommend. But they are truthfully two of a kind. Cowboy Bebop is more lighthearted, but all three are incredibly written.

We have similiar taste, I love all of those apart from The Great Pretender. I have been meaning to watch it for a while now, it looks v good.
