This entire anime is just about a 34yo guy, with the maturity of a teenager, finally growing up. It is the only explanation for why it is SOOOO slow! He was a fat worthless slob after being horribly abused & this anime is him working through his trauma & finally growing up, this is also reflected in the anime's name. There is no other reason for having so much self reflection in an anime.

The story? Is worthless, between all the plot holes, episodes that repeat & episode filler the story is just garbage.

While the world creation is good, it is vastly over shadowed by all the negatives.
