Waow this was an awesome anime! But if you do not like war then this is not for you... But if you are interested in history of vikings then this is actually a fantastic way to start!

I did see the manga was very popular so I started to read it but I only read the first chapter because I thought that it would be much better in animation and let me just say I was right!

And holy sh*t there is so much real history in this (but remember it is still fiction) 

I do know as a fellow Scandinavian that we are "proud" that we had been vikings but as you can see there is not much to be proud of really...

I am very surprised but very glad that there were no rape scenes or the subject at all because all that vikings did was kill, steal riches and land and of course rape all the women they came across... sadly
