Oh,ok,I got it!I won't be THAT free during this summer, but I'll find some time to reply to any message, like I'm doing now.Glad to hear you again!Hope your sister's doing fine, too! ^^
Yeah,it has been a long time, man. It's just that,I never see ya online,or,to be more percise, you rarely come here,so I was just assuming it was useless to write you a message that you would have never seen.Just to let you know,I'm always here:I may be late with the responses, but unless I'm dead I always reply back!
Hello, I'm really sorry about this late reply but I haven't been online for a while!
Anyway, how are you? You said you thought you were coming down with bronchitis in your last message, right? Are you okay?
Oh, I actually started watching Parasyte! I'm enjoying it and the body horror isn't actually as bad as I thought. I think the worst part for me so far is when the "snake" is burrowing into Shinichi's arm, I really hated that part >.<
Hi Renji! It's lovely to hear from you again, how are you? :D
Since it's been almost one month since you wrote me, I decided to copy down the content of the message, so that you don't have to go to my page to remember ;)
"Heya! :) You are so very welcome! :) I understand what you mean with the busy and hectic schedules. I'm currently in my training stages and internship to be a full-time State Trooper. And of course! I see that stuff all the time and sometimes even get it back at me. And there can be times where I have done it myself, but only after I've been pushed way, way, way too far over my limit. And it hurts after I do, but some people just will never understand. And yea, with me, you don't need to worry about anything impolite or rude and such. :) And yes, there is sometimes over 500 names a day and there are several greeters. We are always looking for more and you can customize it so it fits for your schedule. Lol, the boss is really nice. :) I have my customized schedule set up for 50+ names Monday through Friday, with weekends off. There are even people who only do 5 names a day for only 2 days of the week. All customizable. It would be really cool to have you join us at WECO. Omg, now I sound like a recruiter. It's only a suggestion. Or you could just be a supporter for WECO. And it's really easy. I can get you more information if you would like. :) And why, thank you. I'm glad I touched you with my welcome. :) I try my best to make everyone feel welcome. I've been doing it for 4 years now, and I really love it. :) And it's totally cool. You are extremely good at English. I can speak other languages as well. If you need to talk in that other language, just let me know and I can totally do it. :) And as always, I hope to hear from you again and I hope you have a fantastic day! :)
~Renji :)"
Sorry for my ignorance, but what exactly is a State Trooper? Is it more like a police officer or a soldier? The way you talk about it, it sounds even harder than the nine hours of school I do every day: by internship, do you mean that you actually live there or is it just a way to say that you are participating in the training?
Being quite sedentary (I'm more of a bookish person) I don't think I could ever do something like that, so I really admire what you're doing, whichever of the two it is. As for me, when I grow up my dream job would be to become a doctor and, if possible, to conduct research on brains. To give you an idea of how much of a school lover I am, I'll tell you that I had to explicitly tell my classmates that I want to study medicine, because my interests are broad and I am fascinated by all the other subjects as well (except for legal studies, which requires plain memory and looks quite boring to me). In fact, they all believed that I would study Latin and Greek literature, since I find both my teacher and the authors we read to be brilliant.
Anyway, I also admire you for being able to stand your ground against such rude people: if it were me, I think I would simply start ignoring them and never talk to them again. Since I think that me doing that would also be rude, that's partly why, until now, I never started conversations on the net with people I did not know, unless I was first contacted (like in your case) or I wanted to praise something they wrote (generally reviews, fanfictions or original stories).
As for joining WECO, I'll contact the boss to be a supporter (she greeted me too), but I'm not sure being a greeter would be the best thing for me: as you can see, it took me a long time to force myself to come here and come up with a reply to your message, despite not thinking of it as a bother at all and wanting to do it. I'm actually starting to think that I'm too lazy to keep everything on track, since it's not like I have absolutely no free time at all in my life to justify my tardiness in answering. For this reason, I'm worried that I won't be able to do my assignments, even if it's just ten every weekend.
But it's also true that I need to start being more expansive with others: I used to be extremely shy until half of middle school and I'm desperately trying to get rid of my "shell". I think I made some progress, but I'm not too sure about it, so being a greeter and forcing myself to meet new people would help me with that: i hope you didn't notice (that was kind of my goal) that I spent an hour and a half on this, because I wasn't quite sure what to write and what to keep to myself. Anyway, the gist of this long parenthesis was to say I'll think about it :)
Hope you got to the end of this without falling asleep, have a lovely day <3
Elena
p.s.: By the way you spell things I was thinking you might be from the US, am I right? Then, if it is your first language, please write in English: my teacher at school is not very good and I would like to practise it, since in June I'm trying to get an English certificate (therefore don't hesitate to correct anything of the way I write, I would immensely appreciate that, I mean it).
