Story

Introvert Yuu literally bumps into a girl named Fuuka.  Drawn by her positive attitude they start hanging around together.  One day she was inspired to start a band and takes Yuu and 3 other people along on her journy.  However, on another day, Yuu regained contact with an old childhood friend who turned into a massive idol.

Where to begin?  For the most part it was fairly simple but it just go so out of hand and ridiculous in a bad way.  The plot was not complex at all but everything just turned in weird ways that just didn't make sense or at least all had the worst possible decision making.  It sucks because when they did stuff right it was fairly enjoyable.  However, the treatment of some characters just sucked hard.  Apparently, this adaptation also redid a vital part of the original manga which through many for a loop for how it'll end.

Animation

There was nothing really special in animation.  Character design wasn't that bad at all and backgrounds were pretty good looking.  However there were egrigous amounts of fan-service from panty shoots and titty shots.  Some also just don't make sense with the censorships though.

Sound

This is pretty much the only good thing about this show.  Music is fantastic.  I listen to the OP quite a lot and all the other songs as well.  It's a good choice to make sure that that was a high quality part since it is a music anime after all.

Characters

The good amount of likable characters are offset by the two who are absolutely horrible.  Bad enough, the two bad ones are the mains, Yuu and Fuuka.  Yuu is a such a shitty male lead and especially a romantic lead.  There's not much likable to him that would fascilitate the mandatory love triangle except just being their.  Also his treatment of one character was just so horrible because that character should be a saint for dealing with him.  Fuuka on the other hand can pick times to be absolutely annoying and bad.

Overall

It had some solid bones to it and the music was fantastic.  However some parts really dragged me down about it.
