I thought it would be OK to watch the anime instead of reading the manga because the first couple of episodes were fun, but by the 6th episode I had to drop it.

The overall story is good and the episodes are quite funny, but the animation dropped a lot from the manga, making the anime story too simple. The story and character development progress unrealistically fast; same with the transtitions between episodes, which make the story confusing. It's a shame since the basis is quite interesting, but the anime just feels rushed.

Obviously some people prefer to watch the anime than reading the manga and it's also quite common for them to differ from one another, so I don't usually like to compare them or to tell people to read/watch one over the other, but in this case I absolutely believe reading the manga is the better option to fully appreciate the story.
