Hey! Read your thing that I wrote, and yeah, totally agree with you. KonoSuba is meant to be a funny show and it is, and part of the reason it works is  One of the reasons I love Kazuma and his party is because everyone is usually defined by their flaws than by their strengths. And what you said about him being a realistic mc is also very true. One of my favorite shows, Re:Zero, has a mc very similar to Kazuma in the sense that he's an otaku NEET who is very flawed yet also very realistic, and I think Subaru is a very good character due to this realism, so I respect people who think likewise for Kazuma. That said, I just found that it seemed like he never learned anything throughout the show unlike Subaru, and Kazuma's behavior mostly stayed the same. He would oftentimes be needlessly mean to the other people in his party, and while he felt differently deep inside I'm sure, he was also really selfish for most of the show. While I understand where he's coming from since it must be near impossible to be supportive and kind with a group who constantly fails at everything, but it makes it hard to really root for him sometimes. Compared to other characters I don't like, like say Bakugo from MHA, I dislike Kazuma a lot less, because he's not the worst. He just, is rather selfish and rude and ungrateful most of the time, and that's what keeps me from liking him.
