Hana to Alice was an extremely wonderful movie, one that I wasn't expecting would get to me as much as it did.
Rotoscoped anime is usually not seen as a good artstyle and thus ignored, though after watching this anime I have completely dropped those 'standards'.
Hana to Alice is the story of a girl who moves to a new area, one with odd beliefs that leaves her paranoid to even stay in her room, so she takes it onto herself to discover the truth behind it.
I could get far into the plot, however i'd rather get into the characters seeing as they were my favourite part. This anime highlights friendship... See full review
I have a lot to say about Gatchaman, and i'll make it as spoiler-free as I can, so please hold on tight for this ride! In the first episode, and maybe the few after it, Hajime seems extremely annoying, she takes the excited anime girl trope and pushes it by so much. Not everyone found her annoying, but I certainly did. This carries on for a little bit, most characters in the series also find her rather annoying. Slowly, you get to know her and you and all the other characters begin to adore her. I have realized, that was an extremely artistic choice that not many notice by the company, this creates deep... I just finished this anime and I honestly wish that I never even looked at it. I will try to keep this as spoiler-free as I can, so stay with me. This anime engages in cheating, and will definitely leave you hurting in the heart just as I was. The story is perfect, from a critics preview the ending was perfect too. But as a human this absolutely destroyed me. It wasn't as sad as some others I've seen, but it certainly left me the most empty. It starts out rather simple but soon you should prepare for your heart being torn out. I honestly wish the ending had been the way I wanted it to be... See full review
This anime is for people who like calmer animes, like K-on, Hanayamata, or Love live.
This is about childhood friends, who once dreamed of being idols. As much as youd think this anime would end Cliche, it didnt. For an anime of the genres it was amazing and I suggest it if you need a break from psylogical and sad animes, or action ones. This anime even brought tears to my eyes at some point.
You connect with the characters fast, each character has a twist of personalities. It isnt just Kuudere, Rinko who could be labeled under that, is also a really happy and caring girl who shows to be passionate... See full review
You Cannot base this movie, off of a regular anime movie or series. For only 22 minutes of content, it was mindblowing. I was worried that it wouldn't show me what I wanted to see, or that it would be a cliffhanger and just end. In the whole movie they managed to show her life, her dreams, and her commitment all in such a short amount of time, which most animes struggle to do it in 12! There was two romances that were shoved back, one with a guy who only showed up once (Brown haired guy who said he did all the training), and the one nearly bald kid. I'm really hoping for a second! I hope you all check... See full review
Usually, in anime's everyone is depressed and it's just cliche, however in this anime it gives the selected people reasons to be upset, and they try their best to rid of the sadness. The idea of nanaki village was amazing, and you'll probably agree once you watch the anime. If you're expecting the same thing as Another, don't. This is much more entertaining as I personally got bored of Another rather quickly. The only flaws I really see is how they aren't very good at measuring the characters, some are more obsolete as others even though it's suppose to be a 'group story.' Jack is a good example of this.See full review
