Finally, I'm sure you'd feel the same if I'd decided thought AoT sucked (which I don't, so don't worry.) I mean, wouldn't you want me to watch more because YOU know how good it is? (And it really is a good show! I won't dis it out of spite like I, regrettably, used to.) But wouldn't it be frusterating if I refused to keep going because I didn't like the first few episodes and you know how much better it gets and you just really want me to get there to see how cool it really is? That's how I feel. And I think you and Emma both are making a mistake in dropping it this soon. I know the animation isn't top-notch, but that improves over time. I know the storiline is goofy, but that just adds to the charm once you get used to it. I know some things that happen can be really far-fetched, but that just reminds you of the stories that sailors tell, which are also far-fetched. I know Usopp looks wierd, but... well that's just something you have to deal with. Lastly, I know that the chicks aren't super attractive at first but, once you get used to it, Nami is freaking hot! (Pre-timeskip Nami, of course.)
Like I said, there's a whole slue of good story-arcs coming up and this is the only anime so far that has driven Ian to tears!
Also, because you've rated everything ELSE like 4 stars AT LEAST and you've given OP 2 stars and, if I recall, you used to rate it 1.5 stars, so it's become clear yo me that you giving it 2 stars is you being "merciful." You haven't even given the show a chance to warm up. Some anime just take a while. Look at Fairy Tail! I know you've never seen it, but we're at episode 20 or so and it's finally starting to get good!
All I'm saying is that you're making an unfair judgement wayto early in the game. To tell you the truth, I wasn't a very big fan at the point that you're at, and, if it weren't for Ian, I might have dropped it to. There are some really good parts coming up! You've just gotta hang in there!
