Judging on why you liked Elfen Lied, I think you might like Demon Lord Dante, just get past the first 5 episodes (As it is getting better now, I'm on episode 7 I think)...
Like I said, I thought it was very good, but not my kind of thing so I didn't enjoy it as much as it was good. (Something about the atmosphere turned me off a bit)
And the ending was a bit dissapointing, but wasn't horrible...definately want to add it too my DVD collection eventually. heh
