If you have read the manhua, read the novel, don't watch the anime. You won't make it past the first few episodes. It's crap. If you want to watch the anime first before reading the manhua/novel, you will regret it.

The story is face-paced, but I guess they did it with the assumption that people also watched the 1990s Shaman King. The animation is so much better and the action scenes are amazing. But what stood out about this anime from the 1990s Shaman King, is unlike the previous one, the ending was PERFECT! It didn't leave you unsatisfied and wondering, what the heck? It was absolutely A+ Despite all the quirks here and there, I would watch it just for the aanimation and the satisfying feeling of the ending itself. 

Full of comedy, action and a wonderful story, this Isekai has become one of my favourites. I love that despite being overpowered, he's not arrogant, kind to his friends but ruthless to his enemies. Not considered good-looking but charismatic thus attracts people to him. I love the animation, the voice acting, and the world he was forced into. Do not compare this to the Slime, as Rimuru is an incarnation into a monster, who is accepted both by man and monster, and is understood by both whereas Mikoto is human, only accepted by monster and can only speak their language. As usual, Type/Moon has brought out a beautiful anime for us to watch. Ritsuka and Mash are amazing in the last battle with amazing fight scenes and the characters from the previous Fate series are magnificent to watch as they battle the bad guys. I absolutely loved to see my favourite Heroic Spirits on the frontlines and the ending was perfect. My hat off to the animators and cast. Totally recommend this to everyone.

It's an Isekai. Even though Subaru doesn't become OP, and gets a harem, he does get a power that lets him go back in time, by dying. However, what irritates me is that he doesn't do something until 4 or 5 times later to actually change the events. He either goes into hysterics or pretends nothing is wrong. He knows what is going to happen, yet yells at everyone, who is confused at why he is angry at them. I don't like how he handles the situation and the fact the story barely keeps moving forward as he keeps dying due to his stupidity. I'd skip season 1 if I were you.

Like the previous season, it was funny, entertaining, and draws your attention. I loved Iruma in his evil cycle and see Kalego put in his place by Opera. Clara is cute as ever and Asmodeus is even more clingy to Iruma. The Mexican soundtrack totally fits in. Even though this season was less rowdy than the previous, it is obvious that more will happen in the third season. I can't wait.
