Aokemuri says... Azumanga Daioh is a good anime? could u tell me something about this, maybe i will spend my time watching it :)

I enjoyed it, but it is not everyone's cup of tea.  It is episodic, meaning that there is not really a strong plot or story it relates; it is more about getting to know the characters than anything else.  Random days in the lives of these random schoolfriends.  There -is- a loose story that is reveealed, but it is secondary to the characters.  But, despite being so character oriented, we don't get very much backstory or character development.  It is kinda like a Seinfield-esque comedy: truly not actually about much of anything, we are just hanging around with these characters.

That being said I liked it and think it is a pretty decent schoolgirl comedy vehicle.
