I am a multishipper on bnha. So i do ship todomomo and tododeku.
The reason i ship todoroki x deku is because at the sports festival, deku inspired him to see that his quirk was HIS, not his father's, only deku could do this. I just found that nice. They also really good friends. They fight well together and deku even defended todoroki in front of his dad.
bUt even with all this, their interactions are lacking. I mean its cute but i feel that this ship surfaced from a fan imagination. Like if you search up todorokixdeku moments, its much harder to find that, for example, kirishimaxbakugou moments. I do ship tododeku, but momo x todoroki has more substance and they are also cute together. So i ship todomomo much more than deku and todoroki even though deku has a really positive impact on his life.
Also, you are right. Bakugou and Kirishima bromance is number one. As much as seeing them date would be adorable, their friendship is already precious.
I hope you don't mind me saying my opinon on Bakuedeku... (btw ship who you like, this isn't to attack you or anything)
Ok, honestly. They were the first ship when I startted watching bnha. The fanart of them was so nice and they had alot of dj mangas.
But, in my opinon, they are actually quite toxic. First of all, i know how childhood friend ship tropes are really nice but this doesn't fall into that category. Bakugou and Deky first meeting was when they were only four, and Midoriya is literally crying and begging Bakugou not to hurt the other kid. Meanwhile, Bakugou insults Deku and continues to beat him up, even using the nickname he made up for him to simply insult him. There are flashbacks and the like to prove that their relationship wasn't always like this, in fact, the two were actually friends before an incident where Deku helped Bakugou out before their quirks developed.
But when they finally did recieve their quirks bakugou felt the need to be better then deku. Like you said, he mistakened that deku was looking down on him. He has told deku to kill himself and has physically/mentally abused deku when they were in middle school. Bakugou will come to respect him, but I think the chances of them being friends are little.
Another thing about BakuDeku is that the basis relies on Midoriya's continuing to want to be Bakugou's friend, both when he is being bullied by him and when Bakugou finally gets to a point where he respects Deku. While this seems like evidence of underlying feelings, it's something more like Deku holding onto what once was. He remembers when they were friends, when Bakugou was the leader and he was the content follower. Thus, he still calls Bakuou 'Kacchan' despite everything that's been done to him. Other characters address this, they can see that Bakugou has been a harmful presence in Deku's life and while they don't exactly tell him to stop saying it, it's obvious that Deku is holding on to what they once had.
Most of the fanfics and etc that i have seen about bakudeku makes bakugou's personality very fanmade. The ones where they keep his normal personality normally end up with Bakugou being abusive to deku and even go to the point of raping him. Ofc, i have read some good and innocent ones, but these one Bakugou constantly bullies Midoriya. there was the bullying and constant abuse of Bakugou's quirk, then the reveal of Bakugou's superiority complex later in the series. They have a tainted relationship because of both Bakugou's mistreatment of Deku and Deku's own acceptance of this and the way he clings to the old 'Kacchan'.
So yeah, i do think that this ship is toxic and has too much bad history.
BUt, i can also see how this can work.. Bakugou is changing into a better person, slowly but is changing. it would be amazing to see deku and him get along. I really do want to ship but i cant. i get how the dynamic of a love hate ship is nice. In the manga, i dont think bakugou ever apologises to izuku, so i mean i would be more open minded to their ship if bakugou apologises
For this ship to work, bakugou needs to apologise big time and fix his infireor complex.

But yah, i love kiribaku and sure i don't mind debating abt kiribaku with you.
