A fun watch nothing world shaking but pretty funny synopsis: some guy with masochism meets a sadist tsundere and an Androphobe and they basically conspicuously love triangle it up while tsundere chick beats the absolute shit out of him the entire anime. Story: this anime isn't necessarily meant to be taken seriously and in its serious moments it felt kind of flat. Especially in the beginning of the episodes where they introduce arashikos backstory without even half an attempt of trying to establish any type of rapport with her. The story is funny tho and the violence only becoming moderately stale. The... See full review
well what the fuck did i just watch? Story: some stories are to be told and some are to be interpreted. I dont know what to do with this one. The beginning thru middle episodes seem like menial and confusing bullshit but it all kind of(and i mean kind of in the slightest way possible, gets wrapped up). The late 90s and early 2000s were just stuffed with weird internet related psycological shit and this is no different. i cant even go in depth because the only plot points i understand at all are spoilers. animation: i mean the techno shit and popups and graphics give off heavy old internet vibes, and... there is no serious review that can be written on this anime. its commemorative for the franchise lasting 10 years so theres a whole lotta fanservice. Its not really worth watching unless ypu wanna see that sceme of Rika cleaning windows with her ass or Shion licking whipped cream off Mions breast.See full review
I don't know what all they hype surrounding this movie is about, to be quite honest. It felt very melodramatic with a super forced happy ending that made less sense then ending we all expected did. story: it started off very well. I was like what the fuck is this filler, then suddenly shit got hella dodgy. It was very suspenseful and the mental dilemma that Sakuta went thru I felt also maybe even harder. I was contemplating like a mf, looking at what he'd do, and mentally shitting on his every move. However the ending is just so goddamn bad. I'll admit im a complete Mai fan, but Sakuta should not be... See full review
I cried yes but all I feel rn is a feeling of complete and absolute emptiness. It all hurts so fuckin much. Man that shit hurts. synopsis: a terminally ill yet surprisingly cheerful female meets a bookish and blunt male. They hit it off immediately but with her days winding down how will they cherish the time they have with each other? story: I'm gonna name the negatives. They one scene with unnecessary sexual hyper aggression and one important plot point switcharoo felt kind of too unexpected, kind of like a cheap thrill, tho it absolutely served its purpose emotionally. I'm writing this review covered... See full review
its your name, but weather flavor. dont get me wrong its still enjoyable but it felt EXACTLY like your name. synopsis: a runaway meets a girl that can control the weather. but theirs more to her than meets the eye... story: as i stated previously its almost identical to your name. Two people two different backgrounds have a fateful meeting in some supernatural way. they fall in love run into some form of a problem and the male ends up trying extraordinarily hard to solve it despite the fact that he barely knows said female. Despite that the story has many enjoyable points. it was extremely charming... See full review
nov 12 note: they fucking butchered the source material almighty god thats fucking horrendous anime is a two pack of ass story: the first 9 episodes are completely incomprehensible. I was shitfaced for the entire anime confused on what was actually happening. And after the end of the anime I still don't fucking know what I don't know about what's happening. It started off with him like "I'm going to Aoigiri Tree blah blah blah" then it's suddenly him fighting demons attacking a jail and then shit hits the fan some big raid happens that I still don't understand reasoning for. Last 4 episodes felt... See full review
overhyped. so very overhyped. when this first came out people were on the verge of orgasm just thinking of Tokyo Ghoul. This anime is a shounen thru and thru and the ending is absolutely horrific as are the ending episodes. synopsis: some quiet guy finds a girl to go out with and she tries to kill him as she is a cannabalistic monster known as a ghoul. she fails and the monster she was is now the monster he is. story: the first episode is very engaging and exciting and promises a fight against morals and the dark side of humanity. However this all fades away and dissipates the farther you get... See full review
This anime is not what it seems. It might look like a fun ecchi anime plus bunny girls. Instead of that it's the pain of adolescence, complex science lessons from a big breasted girl with glasses, and a really good romance. story: should've been called bunny girl and other adventures in the absolute fucking pain of existing but I guess the title is adequate. Imma start with the negatives the main male, Sakuta is extremely insensitive and most of the time it works but in the third arc his insensitivity felt incorrect for those scenes and it felt kind of unrealistic to me. Another has to be Kaede's forces... See full review
What originally seemed like a very uninteresting netherworld dive turned into something enjoyable.
Synopsis: a 12 year and her new robot friend decide to descend straight down into the mouth of absolute hell to try and find her mother.
story: what irked me throughout the watch was how extraordinarily unprepared she was. She isn't brave or courageous she's brash and simple minded. Some situations can literally only be solved by robot boy and his kill all laser beam. This generates melodramatic moments because we all know she's not gonna die. The suspense in this anime is low most of the time... See full review
Im not the biggest fan of the shounen genre in the slightest, but i could very much enjoy this anime for reasons i both can and cannot explain. Synopsis: essentially, these man eating monsters known as Yoma roam 15th century Europe and the only thing that can defeat them are some badass chicks called Claymore. Some kid named Raki whos age i cant seem to find anywhere is suddenly teaming up with a Claymore named Clare, and they go on hilarious misadventures together, Just kiddin Raki is an age appropriate pussy that gets carried by Clare thru some very gruesome battles, and Clare ultimately becomes... People get bait and switched one time and act like an anime is a god tier masterpiece. It's so bland and uninteresting most of the time, the only thing saving it was the comedy. Story: The first episode switch-a-roo was fantastic. Got my hopes up for a good series. And it fell apart. This anime is LITERALLY high school girls doing moe bullshit with an occasional zombie. I swear to god if you take every scene with a zombie out of this anime, save the last 2 episodes and the 45 seconds of Megu you'd still have a feasible story. Like I mean it's just horrendous. The midseries "how we got to this... See full review
A very interesting take on a frequently used plot. At times heartwarming and at others heartrending. Story: Im on the ropes. I was thinking 6 due to the confusion and the plot holes in the time jumps, but was also at an 8 becasue of how the story progresses and how enjoyable it could be at times in the beginning especially. So i settled in at a 7. Like i siad before equally heartrending and heartwarming, and the unique take of him bouncing in and out of the timeline. However, the same thing that makes it interesting makes it extremely confusing, especially at the end of the anime. (speaking of the end if... See full review
What originally seems like a fun and heartwarming story turned dark and became a time travel adventure. A little confusing but still enjoyable. story: what seems like your average body switch-a-roo turns into more of a time travel timeline switch-a-roo. There are some holes for example like how could he not have known the date you have a phone in your hand l nobody mentions anything about a disaster, yada yada yada. As you get deeper you get more engaged and a lil bit more confused, like why is the moon thing not mentioned more, if he can time travel in her body before the meteor why was he unable to do it... Honestly I could put the words "what the fuck?" and it's still be a functional review of this. I was so confused I started watching Josh Allen highlights afterwards. I literally had to get it out of my head to even try to understand this shit or fathom that I just watched it. I'm thoroughly confused. Story: hard to describe something that doesn't exist. I guess this is post episode 24 and basically shits happening they want the EVA. it starts you off with Shinji jerking off and nutting to Asuka naked in a hospital bed. Yea. It then continues and right after it seems like it'll tie together, it... See full review
watched originally in June during a fit of violent horniness. and fuck i regret it. dont do it dont watch it. ik you see it. The two characters with the huge breast tag look nice right. i beg of you. dont fucking do it. i swear on everything i love this was the most guilt inducing thing ive ever wacthed. Hoods Entertainment should be burnt down and the creator of this manga should be brought and shot at gunpoint, execution-style. what the fuck is this. what in your mind made you think "wow holy shit how about i make an OVA about a loli with cartoonish mechanical arms in a backpack, a chick with dog... A slow burner for sure that feels a tad inconclusive but a solid watch nonetheless Story: id knock it for being both slow and too ambiguous, leaving too much left to be interpreted. It burns slower than a pile of wet leaves. Doesn't even spark until ep 5. And that spark ends up staying a spark leaving u at the end to interpret what the Haibane are, blah blah blah. However, watching Rakkas journey was more than enjoyable and watching Reki and looking at her inner workings was decent. There's a lot of ambiguity mane. Animation: solid old animation. The wings I feel were the best part. Very pretty yet not... See full review
Welcome to Narutaru the most fucked up anime with an abbreviated name. I read the manga previous knowing full well the adaption would be horrendous. It was worse than I though but tbh I only watched it for the animated version of volume 7. And simply put HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Story: a less fucked up more abridged version without dialogue that would explain multiple inexplicable plot holes. It's organized as a few chapters then volume 7, in and of itself one of the most fucked up things I have ever seen. If you have no prior experience with the manga the butchering of source material will not be noticeable... See full review
A solid watch and it's driving point was how quirky the characters were. Rika was very interesting to me through the whole anime. She was the only fleshed out character but she was done pretty well. Synopsis: Some guy who suffered from Chunibyo, a sort of immature middle school delusion of grandeur, runs into a weird and quirky girl who is currently suffering form the same thing. They have fun and shit. Story: Not very unique it's your average light novel story. This is a character driven story and most parts withou Rika were flat and generic. Rika is the main point of this anime and it shows. There is... See full review
Yea this anime is the epitome of dissapointing. It never truly garnered my interest and never engaged me. It's an influence on the genre for all the wrong reasons and one of the reasons why mecha is the genre I avoid. Synopsis: some kid comes back to chill with his estranged father only to be forced out into piloting a large robot like thing called an EVA, which he uses along with two other chicks to fight these large things called angels. Story: At some points this anime feels like a monster of the week anime more then a serious mecha anime about depression and abandonment. This anime takes way too long... See full review
An absolute disappointment. People herald it as one of the greatest anime of all time or of the 21st century but I can barely even call this anime decent. Overrated in all terms of the word. Story: It's no different then any other situation where some guy gets powers goes on a power trip and slowly loses his damn noodles. The best part of the story is the L and Light dynamic. The antihero chasing the protagonist trying to out do each other in a phenomenal cat and mouse game. But that all fell apart after the first arc. If this anime was 24 or 26 episodes it'd be better. But it slaps on an extra 12 episodes... See full review
This is probably one of the first anime I've ever had to take a midwatch break from simply the mental toll it was taking on me. The anime was simply too relatable for me for a number of reasons all of them bad, and thru every episode all I kept thinking was fuck this is almost literally me. Story: the most glaring issues were A) the generic premise of the story and B)the method of time travel wasn't elaborated on enough. Besides that the story was realistic and very easy to get into. The reason I like shoujo anime is simply because I don't have to deal with idiot males running around with their dense ass... See full review
my viewing experience was marred by two factors. One is that the app I used had the first ten episodes incorrectly listed, as in 15 was labeled 6 or something like that. The most important factor was that i was spoiled because some fucking pre pubescent shitbag on Reddit didn't mark a spoiler.
I'm on the ropes. It's not a good anime by any means but it's not horrible either. It's your average Mecha anime plus waifu wars but also a little bit more than that. I can see why it's popular and it's because of 02 Story: it doesn't know what it wants to be. Sometimes it can feel like your melancholic... See full review
Quite honestly one of the worst things I've ever seen. Got old very quickly.
synopsis: some guy is a gynophobe because he got the shit beat out of him by his sister and mother. He meets this guy who's a girl and then shit happens or whatever.
Story: the good thing about it is it's funny as hell. The bad thing is everything else. The ending is horrible, the romances are rushed and its generic to the point of being beyond generic. Up there with Oreshura in my rankings for complete shit romcom. Good first episode but afterwards the romance was forced and thoroughly confusing
Animation: Feel is your... See full review
As a fan of the series, I expected more from this season. To be frank this season was shit and I don't plan on watching the 4th season. So if this is how I ended my run with this classic series, I'm very fucking disappointed. Story: Unlike the usual moderately exciting, fast paced, ecchifest with some backstory I get, this just felt flat. I can't describe it's like they put no passion in the story in this season. It's boring, too talkative, and wastes too much time on small things and not enough on more important situations. The villains were also unusually boring and flat, and they all felt like the same... This anime has one of the worst endings I've ever seen. You can feel the plot filler and smell the non-canon material from it. You might as well just read the manga. Synopsis: Basically, set in 2023, this 14 y/o kid named Ganta Igarashi is just chilling in his class with his cool friends. Suddenly some person pops up and paints the classroom with his classmates, literally. Ganta catches a nasty ass death sentence, and is sent to Deadman Wonderland your average dystopian prison on every single bit of crack. He meets a mysterious girl, who is kind of permanently naked but she's just wearing clothes so tight... See full review
lets look at a quote I wrote in my manga review "I probably won't watch the anime cause it'll be a tragedy of an adaption. Looks like I was fucking right.
Synopsis: So essentially some middle schooler named Kasuga with an obvious mental illness and a tendency to overreact, decides to steal his crush's gym clothes. It's kind of more than a crush more like hardcore mental obsession. He's caught by some creepy bitch (which is literally the best way to describe her) names Nakamura she then proceeds to fuck his mental state. That's it. Story: they took almost exactly what they did in the... See full review
A solid anime. Though there was a thorough misuse of the premise it came out decently, I guess. Also part 2 of anime I watched because it has Yousei Teikoku music in it. Part 3 Seikon no Qwaser will happen eventually. Story: It's generic on occasions with your more than occasional plot armor and yea bitch u thought I was dead, come fight me for another goddamn episode moment, but it's tolerable. For three reasons. The plot is extremely cool it's your classic doppelgänger but cooler and a lot more nuanced Kuro. Absolutely Kuro. The plot twists are moderately solid i didn't like... See full review
One of my top five favorite anime and most of it is from how engaging the characters were and how realistic the story was without being too basic or generic. Mashiro is my second favorite anime female of all time, and when you watch this you'll fall in love too. Synopsis: basically some freshman decides to argue with the principal over a cat. He gets sent to the dorms for the problem children, Sakurasou. It's dusty run down and pretty shitty but he learns to call it home with the help of a cute ass kuudere he's more or less forced to take care of. Story: The unique cast of characters was essential to the... See full review
I absolutely adore this anime. Goddamnit if Gabriel wasn't the most relatable otaku loli of all time I don't know who is.
