Killing Stalking is amazingly written and executed, all the characters are complex. I love how Eunseo, Sangwoo's mother, was introduced as the "good innocent wife" when in fact, she was the one who, apart from Sangwoo himself, had the most impact on what he is today. Of course, i was suprised by the number of people who think that Bum x Sangwoo is a good ship and openly defend Sangwoo. The main point they use is "It was Eunseo's fault, it was his past don't blame him". I mean, of course, Eunseo is partially to blame but in the end, Sangwoo was the one who decided to become a rapist and murderer, past can never justify someone's actions.
SeungBae was one of the few who actually did anything heroic and he is the hero of the story. I also really love him. One thing that angers me more than b*tchy/messed up characters are the people in authority who don't do anything because they are either paid hush money or they simply dont care enough to do anything. My favourite character is actually Detective Lee, SeungBae's close friend who also fights for justice but didn't take any actions and was completely oblivious to Sangwoo's misdeeds lilek the majority of teh police dept.
Apart from Killing Stalking, is there any oter messed up or psychological things you have watched/read?
I do find it weird that there are extra body parts on the students like Sero, iida, etc. For lack of better word, it gives me the "heebie jeebies" lol.
Killing Stalking is one of the darkest mangas, and well written ones. Suprising enough for me, the most disturbing scene in my opinion is when Bum said "it ripped" ('-' ) then they did it the second time. I wasn't prepared for that like I was of all the toture, so it just caught me off guard.
I really despise Sangwoo but he is extremly well-written just like everything else in this manga. He is a horrible person, I can empathise A LITTLE with him considering his childhood but the past never jusifies actions today and even Bum, who's childhoos was much worse, turned out way better than Sangwoo. Bum, I dislike him as well, but he never deserved all the sh!t he went through, even before he met Sangwoo (with his uncle), I also feel bad that he had developed Stokholm Syndrome. Perhaps with the right therapy, it could have been helped but it was too late.
Sangwoo is smart to a certain extent as all those who commit such heinious crimes have to be if they can get away with it. Another character I would like to mention is Eunseo (Sangwoo's mother), I love how her character was portrayed as merely the victim at the start then the truth was later revealed.
Who is your favourite character in Killing Stalking?
Momo's quirk is probably one of the coolest tbh. Dabi's one is also quite nice but I prefer Todoroki's quirk over his since its fire/ice vs (blue) fire.
My favourite quirk would be either Uraraka's or the tea quirk girl from the pro hero examination. I like the idea of being able to make things, including myself, float. And the tea quirk since the more I drink tea, the smarter I am so naturally that would be cool.
My least favourite quirk would be Aoyoma's quirk, although I like the character, his quirk hasn't got much potential at all, not tp mention he gets stomache aches when he uses it alot.
I actually like Sero's quirk since he can basically be a S P I D E R M A N but with tape instead of webs. Another great quirk is Bakugou's - and he finds creative ways to use them.
ah- I see you have also read Killing Stalking, whats your thoughts on that? which scene was the most disturbing and finally, what do you think of Sangwoo and Bum?
