I originally wasn't going to post a review but seeing all of the ridiculous reviews dragging the story I decided to. The one thing I will agree with the other reviews is it does have the standard air of "regress and have a leg up on everyone" but it's not in a ridiculous manner and if that's not what you like, then just don't read it. The mc spent their first life having the notion that they're "bad luck" and will bring terrible fates to all those around them being drilled into them over and over with immense amounts of trauma. Ultimately, his life ends with the few people who never... See full review
I feel like whether or not you like this story depends on your expectations going in and what you're looking for in a story. There isn't really much in the way of adrenaline pumping or action packed, but I found the whole thing to evolve into a constant stream of hilarity just on the basis of how ridiculous the mc makes things for the rest of the world. It's a little like if you watched a friend doing a ridiculously cheesy British accent and claiming to be the queen of England and the person they were talking to started bowing exaggeratedly and telling them how amazing they are. It's absolutely ridiculous... See full review
The romance of the main characters is structured around them both having a natural vibe with each other. It's a story with tons of hidden information and secrets and the main characters, while flirting with each other often, are more interested in getting to know each other and each other's secrets. I like the build up and the clear attention to making the progression of plots natural and not sped up, but I do feel like the backgrounds are too rushed in some parts, not giving much information on those events while at the same time referencing them. I like the progression of the story so far though, and I'm... See full review
I started reading the manga and aside from the obvious sexist, racist, and various other discriminatory standards in the story, I found the bones of the story intriguing (falling into new ancient civilization world where there are vague "magic" aspects present in different ways. Cool half animal-half human people with impressive powers). I was curious what happened at the ending, so I decided if I just quickly read the novel I could have my answer and I could try to stomach how incredibly idiotic the mc acts and how absurd it is that she acts like a paper person. Unfortunately, the story only gets... See full review
Honestly, I really enjoyed the characters and how logical and yet still true to themselves they were. They just felt like very real people, versus a full on drama you find with some stories. I enjoy stories with lots of action and diverse personalities, but I also enjoyed this story that felt a lot like how a game of chess with a friend feels. Two clever and independent people work together while being straightforward with each other about their goals and desires and ultimately end up being an impressive and loving power couple. I've read the story three times over at this point because it's honestly easy... See full review
My level of amusement regarding this story is right at "I'm willing to reread over 100+ chapters just to be refreshed on the story"; so, I would say it's pretty great. I enjoy stories like these with the concept of rpg in real life and op main characters kicking ass after being looked down on. If that's your thing, you'll enjoy it too. ~☆
See full reviewA lot of the "contract marriage" stories hold a line similar to "I won't ever fall in love with you", which causes a line to be drawn that naturally causes tension when one or both parties realize they don't want that line. I really enjoyed that such tension and lines were never drawn in this story. They start off with the foundation of mutual respect and honesty that holds no expectations and they build from there. The story holds a lot of realistic aspects of unhealthy relationships and habits (not uncommonly from bigotry) while showing a healthy and growing relationship as the... See full review
When the story starts out you feel a bit lost as to how you should feel about the relationship between the FL and the ML. I really loved the characters personalities and how light and fluffy it is with even some of the darker aspects. I felt slightly frustrated there wasn't a tiny bit more background for both of them, but it was a minor detail. It's important to keep an open mind and read to the end to really appreciate what a sweet story this is. It's the concept of "no matter what life, what time, what age, I will find you and I will fall in love with you". I noticed a few reviews focusing on... See full review
I always felt like the art had more effort than the rest of the story. I can appreciate the characters but I feel like there isn't enough background for anything in the manhwa. It's rather difficult to keep up with everything when there is so little explanation on multiple points, but I enjoy the concept so I kept reading. I feel like there isn't nearly enough realistic explanation for the medical practices, or really much explanation at all. It's more of a historical drama than anything else. The female lead and male lead are both amusing and work well together but there isn't much emphasis on the female... See full review
