Hey, Air. Glad you're enjoying FtNW! I basically marathoned it in two days - couldn't 'put it down' if that makes sense. Tell me what you think when you finish it. The Erin thing for me was the role of the heroine, the worldbuilding, and this emphasis on different races interacting on not too equal terms. There was also something about the tone, but that's harder to explain.
Wraetthu is a post-apocalyptic story of a world where men and women are replaced by one hermaphrodite race. Simple gender divides disappear; sex takes on a new interesting biological form; and the writing voice is quite pretty. Love it.
