Romance anime has been in a bit of a lull lately. Wokotai and Horimiya being exceptions, but typically romance anime hasn't been hitting the same as the early 2000s classics. Sasaki and Miyano bring back all the same feelings as watching the classics for the first time. It is BL so if you don't like that you might not like it and it is slow-paced, but I think the pace perfectly fit the characters. 10/10 I highly recommend if you want to feel warm and fuzzy while also embarrassed for these characters.
