I've been a long time anime fan, and will be untill death. I came to this site to keep record of what I've been viewing, and to discover new series that may catch my interest. If I can be of service to any of you, please let me know, and I will see what I can do.
The anime that got me interested in anime was Android Kikaider. It wasn't the only one, but it was the darkest I'd seen as a child. It made me see that if something was animated it didn't need to be all cartoony, and I desired to find more that proved that. I still like kid stuff, but I love the well made stuff.

Reasons they need to be remade -
These are great shows, but the animation lacks when combared to new anime.
The pace of the stories were great at the time, but seem too slow now.
The effects they used were good, but now we can make them amazing.
They were loved in their time, but lack the love they deserve now. So to be remade would give them a chance to shine for a whole new generation.

A good harem or comedy? Then try Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai or IS: Infinite Stratos. If you like ecchi + harem as well, then you should watch Princess Lover!, Maken-ki! or Yosuga no Sora. And a comedy? Gintama. It's the best comedy you can find.
